Another month has come and gone (I seriously haven’t posted since MARCH) and I cannot believe it’s June. With that being said, I have had plenty of time to play around with many new products!
I still have my Go-To’s (as in MUST have every day) –
* Carrot Seed Oil (from my line Zia Botanicals)
* Rose Water (also from my line)
* Tarte Shape Tape
* NARS Translucent Powder
* Some sort of SPF (read on for my NEW find)
But in OTHER news…let’s talk about the great finds since my last update! I hadn’t found any products that I was dying to rave about until my BeautyCounter (one word, or two?? it appears to be ONE, but I want to make it two) order came in last night! Check out my YouTube video on my channel here for the unboxing (it’s currently 2:30am MST and I’m waiting for my vid to export…after that I will upload it’s taking SOOO long).
My friend Janene Stageberg of Passion Infused Life, (check her out here) has introduced me to this wonderful new line.
These products are SAFE and SO nourishing to the skin! I have another video I need to edit highlighting a couple of the products. I hope you will shop a little – this isn’t an affiliate link to me, but this is Janene’s site where I purchased my products ♥
Until next time!
I cannot believe March has already come and gone. The first week of April is now behind us and I’m trying to figure out what I’ve done with my life to make it count this week? Last month? Hmmm another story it seems! BUT, I do know I want to share a few awesome finds from March – most of them beauty related and one of them not, but it’s been good for my sanity.
Let’s get the main one out :
#1 – the Swiffer Sweep & Vac. YES. This has changed my life. I have three dogs and our newest addition is a mastiff and sheds little short black hairs everywhere. It was making me CRAZY (my other two dogs don’t shed much, if at all). But I found sanity…this little thing sucks up all sorts of little things (including hair) and what the vacuum misses, the cloth acts like a magnet and attracts the rest. It’s super affordable at 49.99 (Target) and it’s a few bucks cheaper at Amazon.
Now on to the fun stuff:
#2 – Tarte Special Edition Magic Wands makeup brushes…they are just too pretty and I couldn’t pass them up! They were $39 online and not eligible for a discount. I swear even if I don’t use them it’s enough for me to just have them sitting on my vanity to look at. They look like glorious unicorn horns… Continue reading
Okay! So it was date night and I was excited to get ready but a little pressed for time. I found a mask at Walgreens, and I wanted my skin to look amazing so I thought what the heck. Let me just say, I will not try a new mask for the first time before I want to look amazing. Continue reading
A couple months back I bought the Tyme iron…I saw a girl I follow on Instagram using it and it looked awesome. So, obviously I had to buy it. It retails for the steep price of $189…you will find out if it’s worth it or not at the end of this little gab sesh. Keep reading or watch the video here. Continue reading
I’ve always had normal skin – not oily, not dry. In my younger years I struggled with acne (that’s another story entirely), but now my battle is DRY skin. It happened about a year ago – I noticed that my skin was sensitive feeling and tight, and my fine lines were epic. I attributed it a change in skin regimen and maybe I had been a little too aggressive…BUT…even after I pumped the brakes on the glycolic acid and retinols my skin had changed. Continue reading
Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Concealer
Sephora Collection Perfection Mist Airbrush Foundation
As I have mentioned before, I’m obsessed with a lot of things and one of them is makeup/foundation…I’m searching for perfection although that changes with season, age (oh joy!), etc. I recently bought a new concealer and foundation from Sephora – I want to love both, but I’m not certain just yet. I’m having a hard time with my skin in the dryness department, so regardless of what I use I spy fine lines er’ywhere…it’s no good. Yes, winter is approaching upon us, but I don’t feel that it’s been cold enough to zap my face from moisture (although my sons poor dry hands tell me a different story). But I digress – pictured in the upper right are my recent purchases. Continue reading
Now halfway through my pregnancy (babe #2), there are sooo many pieces of clothing I want for the new season – but they don’t really make sense for me right now. I see my email ads and cruise blogs and look at all of these super cute things and say to myself, “Next fall…”
However, there is one thing that I can indulge in at the moment, and it is shoes! An early fall heel I picked up is my current fav – and in nude…an all time fav. I wore it with a LBD and was in love. Continue reading
